Each frame is given a polished, mirror-like finish and includes stainless hardware. The recessed style of our frames sits around the license plate for a smooth look. This frame has a plate illumination light and a 3rd brake light...The blue wire goes to your headlight circuit for plate lighting and the red wire taps into your brake light circuit and makes the red 3rd brake light light come on when you hit your brakes. The plate grounds with the screws to your frame - or add a ground wire if the plastic grommets that mount the plate frame do not allow a good ground.
